On November 5th during the European Rotors conference Bell Textron Inc. signed a deal marking the order of the 100th Bell 505 in europe. A private buyer named Adam Fawsitt from the United Kingdom signed a deal with bell today ordering 4 new Bell 505's Earlier at Farnborough Air Show 2024, Bell announced multiple new Bell 505 orders to operators in Spain, Switzerland, Estonia and the United Kingdom.

On the 14th of october the Dutch Ministry of Defense has announced plans to acquire eight new training aircraft along with two flight simulators and associated training tools. The current fleet of 13 Pilatus PC-7 training aircraft, in use by the Basic Military Pilot Training (EMVO) program since 1988, is approaching the end of its operational life.
On the 1st of october 2024 the Royal Netherlands Airforce designated the 300th squadron to transistion into the 300 Special operations squadron (SOS) with entirely new taskings primairly focussing on the Special Forces (SF) Support. They will now operate alongside the NLMARSOF and Korps commando troepen.
The 27th of September marks the end of the RNLAF F-16 operations. After 45 years the MoD decided to end the F-16 flying operations in favor of the newer F-35 aircraft that are slowly taking over all former F-16 operating squadrons. The 312 squadron will fly the F-16's one last time around all the important locations in the Netherlands before sending the last pieces to Ukraine.
From the 9th untill the 20th of september the yearly exercise Falcon Leap was held at the Eindhoven Air base, transport aircraft from 8 countries including the United states, Germany, The United Kingdom and more flew in a large formation above the netherlands to conduct paradroppings.
The 21st of September was the Market Garden rememberance marking the end of the exercise.
The yearly spottersday at Kleine Brogel Airbase in Limburg Belguim happend again on the 20th of September. Countless airforces and other militairy assets presented themselfs infront of the lenses of thousands of photographers, neighbors of the airbase and enthousiasts.
Large yearly airshow in light of Hungary's foundation day on the 20th of august. The hungarian government presented all their aereal assets ranging from fighterjets and helicopters to large transport aircraft. This yearly airshow posts in a unique location above the Donau river. The Pest part of Budapest makes for a great Art Nouveau backdrop.
